FOUNDER

TED SUNGCHAN KO 고성찬

Born in 1990, with a mindset of enigmatic characters of the typical Millennial Generation in Korea, his view always represents the cyberpunk-like Korean vibe while keeping an attitude with a high desire to introduce the natural craftsmanship that Koreans have gained followed by its 5,000 years of cultural heritage. He believes understanding the true value of the native land with the low-intervention skill can create a new wave in the wine scene.

WINEMAKER

KEUM JA LEE 이금자

She is arguably the first ever female winemaker in Korea. Koyberpunk winemaking benefits from her high level of craftsmanship based on her hands-on experience, her beautiful mentality as if she cooks hearty Korean dishes for her family, and her deep commitment as she treats her grandchildren. She even wipes the berries to remove the fine dust blowing from the Yellow sea in spring season though she understands giving up a certain part of portion.

VINEYARD MANAGER

JAE HAK JEONG 정재학

His eco-friendly philosophy can clearly be found in his vineyard. No herbicides is used. Pesticides is barely and only used when unconditionally required to protect the vines only if they are in a harsh condition due to unexpected nature hazards. No artificial fertilizers used. He mixes leftover grapes with ‘Hanyak’, which is known as the oriental herbal medicine, to replace any artificial fertilizers and give particular characteristics to the wine.
